KIDS EXPECTATION FROM THEIR PARENTS PART-3

As I have talked on many points about kids expectation from parents…One of the toughest part to do as a parent is to slow down and find time to talk to you child, respect their emotions or understand and trust them.

RESPECT THEIR EMOTIONS:

Respecting your kid’s emotions is also a important thing which you have to do. When parents constantly put their kids down, they will learn to be shy by nature. If parents give their children appreciation and praise them, they will definitely learn to appreciate and like themselves. Parents should be encouraging and uplifting kids best activities.

SUPPORT IN NEED:

Kids expect support whenever they need. Because once in a while they turn to a point where they think that nobody loves them and no one is their to support them, at this time they should always feel free to turn to parents for love and support. Take care not to blame your child if they are struggling in school about their class work or home work. With this they may feel ashamed, which can harm them psychologically. You should understand and know very well that they are trying to do their best.

Understanding and trust:

Understanding and trust is a very important part of parent and child relationship. When you find that your child is doing something wrong, instead of shouting and sneaking on them, you must act decisively and positively. You have to understand them and trust them, if you want to receive it from them.. It is vice a versa,,,, if you trust them they will automatically trust you…..

ENCOURAGE AND APPRECIATE QUESTIONS:

As a parents you may face many questions from kids, and may be tired answering all “why” questions. But if you rightly handle this questions and reply in a polite manner, they will be encouraged towards life and there confidence level increases. And they are always encouraged to ask such curiosity questions and interest towards knowing new things is boosted.

LET HIM BE A TEACHER SOMETIME FOR A CHANGE:

Kids always love to be a teacher. As it boost their confidence in life. It’s a good way to know that what your child is learning new and how much they can grasp from school or from you. You can ask the questions about what they have learnt or about what they know, this will boost their confidence level.

When you expect from kids, its is but natural that they will also have some expectation with you....
